Ammonites from the Tulear region in the southern island of Madagascar, located in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa. Tulear has been placed amongst the better known reefs in the whole world, notably from the standpoint of their components (fauna and flora) and their structures. Ammonites are found in this region from 1/4" up to 40" in diameter. These unique invertebrates were part of marine life over 300 million years ago.
