Lituites breynius are part of the Cephalopod, Nautiloidea family. Lituite fossils originate from the Ordovician period approximately 460 millions years ago from the region of Hunan, China. These specimens show the coiled beginning and long straight section of the fossil. Lituite specimens displayed on brown matrix. The suture pattern of the Lituites is prominant.
