These Spiny Trilobites are known to be from the Devonian of Morocco. The have a wide head, drawn out to the side and rear into exceptionally stout genal spines, and with small, slightly elevated eyes. The ten thoracic segments have wide pleurae, extending into robust spines, and straight pleural furrows. The tail shield is also very spiny. A bottom-dweller, this genus of Trilobite used its spines for protection.
